FHO Racing is set to make a triumphant return to the 2025 NW200 with riders Peter Hickman and Davey Todd. Both riders will compete aboard BMW machinery, aiming to make an impact at the prestigious event, scheduled from 7-10 May.
Faye Ho, team owner of FHO Racing, shared her excitement:
“Having missed the last two years, I am happy to say FHO Racing will be participating in the 2025 North West 200 with my two-rider line-up. I am very much looking forward to coming back and putting on a good show for everyone.”
A Return After Two-Year Hiatus
FHO Racing withdrew from both the 2023 and 2024 North West 200 events due to technical regulations, specifically the non-compliance of their BMW Superstock machines with the Motor Cycle Union of Ireland’s carbon wheel standards. However, with a renewed commitment, the team is now ready to return to the iconic event in 2025.
Exciting Prospects for the 2025 Race
The team’s return is met with great anticipation, as both Hickman and Todd are top contenders in road racing. Hickman and Todd have a history of success at the North West 200, with Todd securing a hat-trick of wins at last year’s event—two in the Superstock class and one in the Supersport class. Hickman, meanwhile, won twice in the Supertwins category with his own PHR Racing team.
Mervyn Whyte, the Race Director for the North West 200, expressed enthusiasm about FHO Racing’s comeback:
“Both Davey and Peter are leading contenders on the roads and tracks and the FHO Racing BMWs have a well-established pedigree of success, so this is very exciting news for North West 200 fans.”
Hickman and Todd to Race in 2025
In addition to their North West 200 plans, both riders will be fielding the same line-up in the 2025 British Superbike Championship for FHO Racing. This promises an exciting season ahead for fans of the team and the two riders.
